About the Role
Reed Tech is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team in Horsham, PA. Our Sales organization is rapidly growing. The Sales Development Representative position creates and secures qualified business opportunities to generate new revenue within LexisNexis. You will quickly grow and advance into an Account Executive role within 6-12 months.
Responsibilities:
  • Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold call, email and social strategies
  • Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments
  • Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
  • Work closely with sales teams to schedule qualified demonstrations, meetings, build pipeline, and produce real business opportunities
  • Meet monthly with management to share success stories and discuss effective sales and business development strategies
  • Carry out all responsibilities with honesty, ethically and professionally
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
  • B.S./B.B.A. in marketing, preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years in a professional environment, preferably with direct sales experience
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficient with M.S. Office and internet search tools
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • Proven investigation or probing skills to uncover sales opportunities
